Emigrant, Montana

This is the view from the RV site in Emigrant.  The Yellowstone River is running high and Pyramid Mountain is in the background.  Yup, died and gone to heaven.  We are 35 miles from the north entrance to Yellowstone NP.  Hope to explore the northern end of the park that we missed last year.  It is summer here with afternoon mountain showers.  We had the pleasure of meeting some friends from Littleton and enjoying some good food and conversation.  Carol acted as a tour guide as we walked the historic downtown of Livingston Montana.  It is a very nice town with great potential. I especially enjoyed the Murray hotel (pic attached).
