Trail End
June 30. 2010 by Merilee.
Sheridan, Wyoming
June 30, 2010
An early morning visit to Trail End Historic Site in Sheridan, WY was very enlightening about a wealthy rancher life style in the period from 1908 to 1933. This is a side view of the mansion with a front view posted on Flickr. It is the only known example of Flemish Revival architecture in Wyoming. The mansion is fully furnished and open to self guided tours. It really was a wonderful step back in time. It was easy to willing suspend my disbelief and imagine how life must have been for this family.

Rapid City, SD
We explored the historic district of Rapid City today. It was cold and rainy so the pics where not the greatest. The city commissioned bronze statures for all 4 corners down main street. It is a wonderful assortment of US Presidents, Indian heroes and national heroes. Linda made friends with John Quincy Adams.

Hill City, SD
Well, the new bull bar has been installed on the Dynamax Grand Sport. With all the driving we do out west in “open range” country, this will give us a degree of comfort.
