Soldier Pass and Broken Arrow

The Steps on Broken Arrow  Brad had a great time driving the jeep over Soldier Pass and Broken Arrow in Sedona.  They are both ”difficult” trails with a very windy, steep narrow road and lots of rocks and step ledges.  This pic does not do the steepness justice.  It was a blast.  This is the first of many descents on the “Steps.”  You may notice that I was “spotting” down the steps and not in the jeep!

Exploring the back country of Sedona

Brad navigates on Schnebly Road Sedona   Brad navigates on an off road trip into the mountains around Sedona.  A truly beautiful day and lots of rocks in the dirt road to shake us up.  Oh yes, I washed the dirty jeep yesterday.  Sorry David.

Enjoying the first day of spring

Cathedral Rock  We are enjoying the first day of spring in Sedona with 72 degrees and lots of sunshine.  Life is good.

Snowy Sedona

Sedona Snow on Jeep  Yes, it has snowed all day in Sedona!  I have been taking pics of snow on the cactus and wildflowers.  I thought we escaped it but it is beautiful.

Winding through Oak Creek Canyon

Oak Creek Canyon Road  Winding our way up Oak Canyon Creek, we discovered that the snow has not fully melted at 6,000 feet.  The pic shows three turns of the road winding around the canyon wall.  Fun drive.  The creek is running high with all the snow melt with the day’s temp at 72.

Bumpy jeep ride up Schnebly Hill Road Sedona

Red Rocks and Cedar   Brad is finally feeling well enough to take a jeep ride up Schnebly Hill in Sedona.  The top is closed due to snow pack but as I drove, we had amazing views of the red rocks in all directions.
