Gold Canyon, Arizona

We had a fun jeep ride along the Ridgeline Trail in the Superstition Mountains today with a great group from Canyon Vista.   You just know they are having fun when they find mud within 5 minutes of the start of the trail.  It had rained the night before and the normally dry and dusty desert was very muddy in the lower elevations.  We stopped at some great sights: a stone wall corral, old stone foundation for a jail, a slot canyon and 360 view sight on the top of the ridge for lunch stop. The loop trail was 14 miles of off road adventure rated a 3.00.  A very good time was had by all.  Thanks to Steve and Jayne for showing us the way and being great tour guides.  The final stop of the day was at the car wash.
